Overview

Goal: For students to learn about working with a food coloring when baking, and the importance of cooling before frosting, by executing the recipe, Red Velvet Donuts with Cream Cheese Frosting.

How: Students will understand the history of how this recipe got it’s fun name, and by learning about what happens if the donuts are frosted when they are still warm.
